Saheli Plus Dosage
Saheli Plus, a non-steroidal oral contraceptive, has to be used at a dose of 30mg once a week. To prevent failures at the beginning of the therapy, it is recommended that a dose of 30mg twice a week for first 3 months is administered to build up adequate blood levels.
For the first three months, it is advised to take the pill twice a week. From the fourth month onwards, it should be taken once a week. The reasoning behind this dosage schedule is that having a backup protection in the first month is a cautious but sensible choice.
